Linux Distribution

Debian 11

What happened

Running a multi instance setup, I had one printer that was not being used. I decided to build and flash a new firmware version onto it. Immediately it stopped both Klipper instances without warning, killing the print in progress on the second printer.

What did you expect to happen

A warning prompt prior to stopping the instances should be presented.

"WARNING: Proceeding with this action will cause klipper to restart. Any ongoing activities by the printers controlled by this device will be terminated. Do you wish to proceed?: (y|N)"

Likewise, if I am just changing or updating the firmware on one instance, it would be useful if the tool verified that the instance was inactive and did not shut down both instances at the same time.

How to reproduce

Upgrade the firmware on a printer.
