Hm... i suspect that something broke due to the recent python3 related commits that got merged.
Im not totally sure but i think that is mainly klipper related. I have to investigate that further. Thank you for reporting.

@Afterschnitzel Please update Klipper and try again. There was a commit that maybe fixes stuff. Please report back if it was solved or the issue still exists.
